About Our Library

The Vassalboro Public Library has, as well as its fine selection of books (including a large print selection); internet access(including wireless) through its three IBM compatible computers, a selection of audio and video cassettes, a Maine section of books (which has a lot of fascinating information about the state we live in). If you are a student looking for a quiet place to type up a paper, we can provide that as well, as all three of the computers at the library have word processing capability and printers.

Volunteer!

We are always looking for volunteers to help provide front desk coverage, input data, shelve books, etc. We also have some special projects that could really use a hand.  There’s something for everyone – whether you’re a “people-person” or someone who prefers to work “behind-the-scenes.” If you might be interested, please drop by, call, or e-mail the librarian for more information.
